Intellectual Property for Artists Talk 6 June

Lead by Charlotte Collyer from the Exeter FabLab at Exeter Library. Charlotte will be talking about intellectual property rights and how artists and crafters might look at strengthening and protecting their creative products and craft, covering traditional and digital objects. This will include an introduction to the small-scale workshop based in Exeter Library, FabLab offers digital fabrication and open access, as a not-for-profit, community resource where anybody can invent and make through an evolving array of computer controlled machines. Including an introduction to Exeter’s Fab Lab by Suzanne Ross.

This event is part of Makers of the Multiverse, a temporary public artwork by Juneau projects who have built a pavilion and invited local artists and makers to stock it with affordable art and run events. The Pavilion, commissioned by Spacex, can be found next to The Boat Shed at Haven Banks.
