Stone Carving Workshops 31 May
Exeter Phoenix, 10am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 4pm
£5 children, £8 participating adults
suitable for ages 7+
Create your own animal motifs using basic carving techniques in cinder block, inspired by objects featuring in the exhibition. Half-day sessions with local stone sculptor Anne-Marie Moss. Booking advisable.
All tools (handsaws, surforms and files) and health and safety equipment (dust masks and goggles) will be provided.
Non-participating adults are advised to stay (for free) to assist any participating children who are too young to work independently with tools.
